Mini Golf With Emma

Considering miniature golf obstacles, rotating windmill blades and larger than life clown mouths are impressive, but I don't know why no one's ever before considered the use of small human obstacles on the putting course. Implementation of this idea would separate the truly talented mini golfers from the lucky ones, I tell ya.

T-Ball, The Second Season

Jack's Thursday night t-ball games have started up again for a new season. Last week I took some pictures of him in his new spiffy t-ball uniform before the game.

Jack in his "Kings" uniform.

And here, I asked him to show me a scary face he might use to intimidate the opposing players. Dang, Jack... This one even scares me. Shudder.

Sculpture

I stared at this sculpture for a good long while before buckling down and asking Jack what it was. "It's a cat," said Jack.

I looked at it a little while longer and concluded that it has a certain "Gary" kind of quality to it. Jack is clearly watching too much SpongeBob.

Mother's Day Makeover

Jack's class recently hosted a "Mother's Day Makeover." I was pleased to be able to zip over to Jack's school during my lunch break, sit in a very tiny chair, and "get beautiful" under Jack's busy fingertips. I walked into his classroom with makeup and hairclips galore. (I also brought some soap. Shh.)

Why yes! Those ARE eyeliner pencil drawings of cats on my forehead. That's nothing. You should've seen the lady next to me.
