Emma's Babies
These are Emma's babydolls. Each of them came with a cute set of clothes and accessories. They came with diapers, baby beds, strollers, pretend baby monitors, pacifiers, bonnets, little plastic bottles with fake milk in them, onesies, you name it... the babydoll regulars.
But then Emma became their mommy. And now they look like this. They've been stripped of their clothing. Their accessories have been discarded. They look freshly sprung from the babydoll institution, one step away from a baby straightjacket. This is how she wants them. Don't mess with the babies. She's serious.
I'm a little creeped out.

I hate to see what she'd do to Barbies.
ReplyDeleteThese are thinking babies. The nonchalontly smiling baby on the left has its feet pointed to the left, as in "exit, stage left." The baby next to it has her hand on Left Baby's shoulder as if to say, "I'm right behind ya." Next in line is Cabbage Patch with both hands on the shoulders of her neighbors, ready to give them a hard shove to safety, and immediately afterward poised to do a spring to standing in Bruce Lee fashion. That one's a fighter, I can tell. Baby #4 actually has her feet turned completely backward. She seems to think tunneling out is the best strategy. I tell you, these guys have a plan. I bet they've been moving around the house at night, scoping out the place. (That last comment is for Jack.)
