The Many Faces of Emma

  1. Have you been cutting her hair? Here's a tip for you on how to deal with her hair while it grows in: Brush everything down in back, everything over her ears and forward toward her cheeks, and her bangs straight down over her forehead. Proceed with trimming a very, very, very small amount as though you are cutting her hair in a bowl cut. It will have some effect on evening out the edges, not really shorten it at all, and make her hair appear thicker.
Your kids must have inherited their hair from their daddy. At least Emma doesn't have electric fright-hair like Jack did. By this age your hair was thicker and you were starting to get a few curls on the back of your head. My girls!

  2. Oh, THANK you. I have no idea what to do with girl hair. Boys are so easy!

I like to call her current style, the "baby mullet". I have not cut it. I was scared to make it look worse. Laughing.
